Sometimes talking or IMing through that block gets me over the sticky spot. Mindmaps can be useful here if you just have one spot you don't know how to get around.
I love challenging a partner to a sprint, too, and brainstorming freestyle to get past blocks. (I know we did that yesterday, but I simply can't not attempt to write more than my partner in a specified amount of time.)
