So, apparently signing up for a huge Japanese language proficiency exam and trying to do NaNo was kind of a bad idea. I've been trying to fight the good fight, but this month has thrown everything at me that it can handle, up to and including an earthquake. (Not really. That's a lie. I was far enough away that all my phone did was shriek at me in Japanese warning me of the impending "quake" just before my wall-hangings trembled mildly and I felt vaguely off-kilter for a minute.) It was actually quite amazing.
But I digress.
It is absolutely and 100% my fault that I'm behind. Motivation is nil.
But I'm just a few hundred words shy of 40,000, and if I can shake around 10,000 words out of myself in the next few days, It'll be good.
I have no idea where to put the 10,000 words, but still. It might happen.
