Okay, so I really wanted to enter something other than the piece I used as an example and didn't realise just how hard that was going to be!!

I thought all my endings were pretty cool until I had to read them on their own without the rest of the story. Then I realised that they mainly caused 'what the?' sort of questions in my head. Nonetheless, I've accepted the challenge and here, for your 'what the?' moment, is:


And I was dismissed, and stuck with the roster from Hell.

'Get my angelic on,' I grumbled as I headed to the baths. 'Easy for him to say.' And then I channeled my calm. The roster was hardly Gabriel's fault and his advice had been sage. No matter what else I thought of Carnelian, he was excellent at his job. I would have to bring my triple-A game to prevent Xerxes going to war.



This is from a strange little piece I was writing called Xerxes' Big Decision. The ending is actually from the "The Angel's Point of View chapter.
