Smartest comes across as a know it all and I lived there for quite a few years, I’m an engineer and designed computers for 35 years. I started in a1960 right after transistors hit the commercial market. When I started acting I discovered that the funniest person was usually seen as not to smart, which is not true though, the funniest are usually the smartest but most don’t see that.

I found a little humor mixed with a good deal of smarts got my ideas listened to when I presented them at lectures, teaching engineering or presenting papers.
