I liked the variety of answers to this topic. It makes me mad that people are doing this. I guess it's just really important to only buy sealed food. I hope that the companies that sell gallon ice cream buckets will put seals on them soon. I have a gallon in my freezer that we just opened last night...and though I enjoyed it because it's ice cream, I wondered if anyone had licked it the whole time.
