I shook my head in exasperation. "You were always impossible to argue with."
She laughed. "That's because I'm always right."
"If only that were true," I muttered.
"What did you say?"
"Nothing. Just thinking about something else."
"So you admit that I'm right."
That was the trouble with Amanda; she would never just let an argument go. I knew perfectly well that she had a point but so did I. And this time I wasn't going to give in purely for the sake of peace.
