Okay so I checked on this. As per the "2021 Prep Calendar"  [E], the contest dates are all Saturdays: 9, 16, 23, 30. These are accurately reflected in "October Novel Prep Contest Rounds"  [E]. The actual contest deadline is noon (WDC time) on the following Sunday: 10, 17, 24, 31.

There is a place where it said 2020 when it should have said 2021, though, and I fixed that.

So to answer your question, no, there's no contest this weekend. Round 1 is next weekend
