The Lodestar Contest

First of all, wow, thank you all for a great round! There are multiple stories here that look like contest winners. I urge you all to consider "Second Time Around ~ Birthday Special"  once it opens again.

I have called in an emergency co-judge, one who has experience with music-prompt contests, high-stakes writing-contest judging, and judging high-stakes music-prompt contests. She also has experience with listening to me whine, disagreeing with me when I'm being an idiot, and helping me realize when I'm not being an idiot.

We'll get you some results as soon as we can. In the meantime, you can look over another music-prompt contest that's starting up next month. It calls for more writing and the rules are quite different. (I'm certain the judging is quite different, too.)
