I definetely agree with Pita and Hamlet about the introductory period. I mean I wasn't even around to read the posts before the murder occured and I also felt like that was an advantage to the people who had been there the whole time. When my character scurries in late then there is very little chance that I am the villian.

2 guesses would probably be ok but I don't think that 1 is enough at all. I'm the type that if I won't waste my chance unless I KNOW it but if I am that confident then chances are everyone else is too. I think so long as you can't use all your guesses right away then people will use them more sparingly.

I like the idea of the first winner/first victim thing but I also think that might be hard. If the villian HAD to kill of Pita first they might have a hard time doing it secretly. Not to mention the fact that right away in the beginning you can eliminate Pita from the suspect list.
