For any one who suffers from chronic pain |
Sounds like it could be a fun job! I would imagine you're quite busy this time of year. I work in a grocery store, I work in the courtesy window along with bookkeeping. I pretty much had to start over when I moved to Long Island. I was the Customer Service Manager in the store I worked at when I was in Minnesota. Strangely enough, my degree is in Social Work, but I found there was too much red tape involved. I did a lot of In-Home work, teaching parenting skills, budgeting, cleaning...you name it, I did it. It was quite a challenge but I found most of my clients wanted me to "fix" things rather than work to fix things themselves. I don't hold well to that philosophy and refused to work harder for them than they would for themselves. When I discovered I had fibro, I took some time off and decided not to go back to the field. I would if I could work my own way and have my own business, but I don't see that happening without a Master's Degree. Anyway, to make a long story short, I try to make people smile every day and deal with all sorts of customer complaints. The good part is, I can leave it at work when I go home and don't have to worry if they're doing what I asked them to do. Hope everyone had a great day...I'm almost ready to hit the hay here, I'm exhausted!! ** Images For Use By Upgraded+ Only ** ** Images For Use By Upgraded+ Only ** |
