1. What is your favorite Trek movie (mine is Wrath of Khan)? There were points I liked about many of them, even STTMP might have been a bit cheesy (and a remake of an old classic episode-the one about the NOMAD probe) but at the time it was like "Wow...a Star Trek movie! How cool is that? " However, my LEAST favorite was "The Undiscovered Country" A waste of good celluloid and special effects. I liked Journey Home (which I think of as "Rainbow Warrior's Revenge" ) But for the most solid storyline, give me First Contact ~or~ Insurrection.

2. What did you think of Nemesis (it rocked!)? It was interesting. We get to watch yet another Trek ship get trashed, and we know that Data's journey to become human was effectively a success, "For greater love hath no man, than he lay down his life for a friend." I do however have issues with B4. All through the NG timeline, it is maintained that Data and Lore are the only two of their kind...that is until Paramount decides that they need to fricassee his circuitry and so up pops B4.


3. Do you think Data will somehow return, or that B4 (who has Data's memory engrams) will assimalate the info and take his place as the new Data? See my response to question 2 for how I feel about B4. Unless they pull the old time travel trick, the unit we knew as Data is no more. As to if B4 will step into his shoes...part of me says that they are identical so it would be a simple matter, but as you pointed out, he does have the emotional chip and the memories. IMO, he would rather be known as himself (or whatever name they give him).
