Spirit of the Air- First in the elementary series
Just a little something done during a lesson, sorry the scanner mucked it up.

You can just imagine her can't you? Floating through the cool nighttime air, parting the grass before her and leaving a trail of stale emotions in her wake. She longs to be seen, to be held, but by the time light illuminates the curves of her cheek, she must be gone.
Instead she takes the dead for company, stealing life to comfort her grief

PS. a big thank you to whoever gave me that upgraded membership... it is greatly appreciated!

*EDIT*
Air of the nighttime
Gracious and still,
Light, like a whisper
And the feeling of ill
Caught in your throat,
Thoughts beyond mine
Lips beyond eyes,
And that purpose of thine.

Parting red grass
Drenched in the dawn,
Your body wastes thin
To a frivolous storm
Life giving light
Casts long rays along
That sweetly kissed mouth
With the breath therein gone.
