The poet and her muse, author and her inspiration.
This is Smokey (and yeah, the other blonde is me). This was taken the day before we said good-bye. He was more than a dog, he was my best friend, and remains a source of inspiration for much of my writing. Lullaby, and Goodnight is about that day and the next, and if you've been to Isiterra you will recognize him there as Hunter.
