three years ago you was give the power to shrink to any size you want and it was a year on that Kate found out your secret when she walked in your room and saw you shrink and that was also when you found out that you can't die if you'll tiny when she stepped on you.

you are at your Kate and Jack's home where they said you can stay for a week as Jack is going away for his job.

you and Kate was chatting for about a hour when she asked if you can shrink so you two can have some fun so you shrink to 3 inches then Kate picked you.
