"We're all alone,
No chaperone,
Can get our number,
The world's in slumber,
Let's misbehave!
There's somethin' wild,
About you, child,
That's so contagious!
Let's be outrageous!
Let's misbehave!
When Adam took Eve's hand,
He wouldn't stand,
For teasin',
He didn't care about those apples out,
Of season.
They say that spring needs just one thing,
Two little lovebirds,
We're not above birds,
Let's misbehave!
Even bears have love-affairs,
And even camels,
We're only mammals,
Let's misbehave..."*
"What the hell is that?" Skander shouted as he approached Adrian in a secluded corner of the school. The ghost was leaning against a wall, smoking a cigarette.
"My favourite song," said the ghost. "Where's Jason?"
"He's here," said Skander, "Jase! Come on!"
Jason jogged over. "This is too freaky..." he said, "A GHOST?"
"Come on, Adrian, you promised," Skander said.
"Alright alright..." Adrian said. And slowly, he materialised in front of them.
"Woah!" Jason said, "Dude, that is..."
"Someone who works on a ranch, get your English straight," Adrian said.
"English has changed a lot since you were alive, gramps," Jason said.
"Jaaaay-son!..." Skander hissed.
"Forget it," said Adrian, blowing out smoke. "So, you're Jason? Nice to meet you, I'm Adrian. Skander lives in my house a few blocks from here."
"Uh...hi," said Jason. It felt weird shaking hands with a ghost.
"So do you have any weird powers?" Jason asked.
"A few..." said Adrian, fiddling with his watch-chain. "But I can tell Skander has some, too."
"Huh?" Skander asked.
"Oh yeah..." said Adrian. "You're no ordinary person, I can tell that much. But not much else."
"What do you mean 'powers'?" Skander asked.
"You'll see..." said Adrian, "I don't know exactly what they are, but I can sense them..."
"I suppose ghosts can sense stuff living people can't," said Jason, "What do you think Skander can do, then?"
"What are you? Thick? I said I don't know! I can just sense it!" Adrian snapped.
