A dark figure approaches your house. What happens next? Under construction.

This is an interactive story. Each chapter tells part of the story and often ends with multiple choices. Make a choice and move to the next chapter in your story. When you reach a chapter that hasn't been written yet, don't be shy... make an addition!
The creator of this Interactive Story provides this information and guidance:
This is a mystery/horror/suspense story about a dark figure that approaches the outside of your house. Additions are needed and greatly appreciated. I will reward good work with thanks and GPs.

A few guidelines for additions-

1. Metafictional techniques (such as self-referencing, 4th wall, active narrator) are not only accepted but ENCOURAGED. The aim is to make the story as unconventional as possible.

2. Dark is good. Violence is expected and can be anything but extreme or perverse.

3. Do keep cursing to a minimum also, and no harsh curse words (F, GD, sex slang).

4. Make the titles to your chapters be the word "The" followed by one word, if at all possible (example: The Tree, The Stranger, etc).

Enjoy.
