You try to reach the weapon

You scramble to your right, pulling yourself weakly with your arms and right leg, dragging your injured leg painfully across the metal floor. The skittering sound seems to react and the source suddenly appears from behind the nearest bulkhead. It is a translucent-white creature that resembles a tall preying mantis made of frosted glass, about 30 centimeters in height. It pauses less than a meter from you and raises up on its insect-like legs, facing you directly. You’re not sure whether to freeze or go for the gun…

You have the following choices:

1. You freeze

2. You grab for the weapon
