"This is a bit much to take in." wincing, you said. "What is it that mad science can do, opposed to regular science?"
"Well, mad science is described as a science that is advanced through reckless and dangerous ways." serious, James replied. "However, real mad science is called that because it is too unstable to be used by mere mortal men but, to a select number of bloodlines, it is child's play."
With that, James ignited a harmless flame to his hand and changed its shape into the likeness of a unicorn before making it run in a circle around you while you watched, both awed and frightened.
