The Big Switch

My name was Nick Donnelly, not that it really matters at this point. I'm about to tell you about the swap of the world.

It started out as a normal day. I really didn't want to go to school. I was feeling kind of crummy, but not sick. I just had a bad feeling in the pit of my stomach.

I guess I'm pretty much dead center on the social ladder. I have weird friends and cool friends and average friends. I'm pretty much nonexistent.

So I was falling asleep in Mr. Frankland's science class when IT happened. Nobody really knows what really happened that day. Most people call it the swap of the world or the big switch. What happened was almost 90% of the planet just randomly switched bodies with other people. By now most of us have fallen into regular routines, but things aren't NORMAL. I doubt they'll ever be again.

People died. Car crashes, accidents, suicide... you name it. The world population's gone down quite a bit since the big switch.

So suddenly I found myself in the body of...
