"Hey! Watch it!"

"Oh, sorry Maya... I was just thinking"

"Well could you think AFTER you get off of my tail!?"

"Crap! Sorry!" you say as you move your foot.

"Ow ow ow.... that hurt, (*your name*)" she says now holding her tail.

"My bad"

"It's fine, at least we're almost there" she says "What were you thinking about anyways?"

"Just about how we met a few months ago"

"Really? Like how you fell out of the sky and landed on me?"

"Not my fault"

"I still blame you" she says jokingly

"Thanks by the way" you say

"For what?"

"Believing me. Most people would have called me crazy if I told them that I came from a different world"

"You should know by now that I'm not most people, (*your name*)."

"No, you're much prettier" you say "and you make a great landing pad" you add jokingly.

"How sweet" she says sarcastically

"How much farther?" you ask

"Just over this ridge" she says "You remember what we're here for right?"

"Of course. We're looking for the.... uh..."
