You lose the ring

"You know what, I think I will use it later" you then toss the box behind you towards you bed and walk out of the dorm.

But what Nick didn't realize is that he had his window open and tossed it right out the window.

A person was walking around the college going to their next location when they spotted a small black box on the ground. They go towards it and pick it up and open it to find a ring inside. They take it out and put it on and then with shock they watch it phrase into their finger.
