...next to a really hot guy.

He glanced sideways and took in the appearance of his classmate. Long, flowing brown hair, with highlights of blue throughout. Tatoos covered the young man's tan arms. Brian tried not to read them, but couldn't resist.
The young man felt Brian's eyes on him and turned to meet them. They were a very showy violet. Brian had never seen violet eyes before. It was very intriguing. He found that his pulse quickened for a moment.
The young man smiled gently and winked at him. Brian couldn't help but turn a bright shade of red and look away out of pure emberrassment.
He finally heard his classmates last name called, and wrote it down. 'Why would I write it down?" he wondered to himself. The name was Lancaster. Odd name, but intriguing just the same. He once again found himself looking over and tried to read the tatoos.
The young man finally looked over and asked Brian what his name was. Brian stammered out the answer.
"I like that name. I'm Colin. Hey, you wanna get a soda after class?" Brian felt his mouth run dry, but there was definitely an excitement too.
