I'm JACE - House Targaryen , and I have the honor of reading and reviewing your offering "American Theocrary" .

I invite your attention to the comments below. Please bear in mind these notes are from one on the outside looking in; ultimately only you can decide what's right for your story.

*Note1* Overall Impression. I found your offering in this week's issue of Noticing Newbies. I believe in God, though I don't consider myself overing religious. Personally, I believe religion is the problem. People hide behind religion like a curtain.

And I don't see your scenario as far-fetched. What's the new term now? Christian Nationalist. I hope that in the event Trump is elected, they still follow the Constitution--he can only legally serve a four-year term. But four years is a long time in politics; anything can happen.

I had a teacher in high school in the late 60's who thought the country was heading toward a dictatorship "needed to fix the country's problems". He didn't advocate that; he thought it likely though. And here we are 50-plus years later closer to that event than I would like to believe.

You, Sir, paint a bleak picture. I do have cable, and the news, disinformation, AI all support the bleak. I can only trust that enough Americans believe in democracy and wake up by the election.
