When your children do you a favor sometimes the time frame is off.
Laundry is a chore that needs to dealt with on a weekly basic. If you let the laundry wait for another week the loads doubles and the complaints from your children are expressed in a not too pleasantly fashion.
My son loves to go to the laundry but that's for a reason. He loves to go to the laundry because the little girl down the street is going. I remember one day asking him to go to the laundry just to wash the clothes. I did not want him to dry the clothes, just wash them was all I asked of him. He called me to ask for more clothes and he wanted them to be washed and dried. The young lady down the street was going and he wanted to stay around her a little longer. So I looked around the house to give him a load where he could wash and dry and my son was a happy kid.
My daughter on the other hand has to get beautify. She lives in the mirror doing her hair over and over to get the look that she wants. First I have to spend about an half hour to get her out of her bed. She always need a added five minutes then she slowly unwrap hear head to look around to see what type of day she waking up to. After getting up she has to pick a fight with her brother to make her day.
When my children are set to go to the laundry they work out a plan that one with tale the cart down the stairs and one will bring it up the stairs. One have to the wWhite clothes and the other has to the colored clothes. Please don't ask why it takes two people to do the clothes. I just think that, that's the way it is for them.
While I am waiting for them to get themselves together two hours has passed from the intial time I asked them in the first place.I wished I had the ability to do my own house chores. Less time would be wasted and I would have things done my way. If I haven't been on doctor's orders not to do heavy lifting I think I would have been a better and happier person. For now I have to put up with my children doing things for me and to tell you the truth I am more tire now then I've been in a long time.
