An Ode to Life
Have you ever seen the mountains,
stained a purple,stained a blue?
Have you seen the little sparrows,
in the freshest morning dew?

Have you seen the nimble elven,
in the thicks of misty woods?
If you've never, then you've never,
breathed the breadth of all life's moods.

Have you heard the honey bees buzz,
court the lilting tulips sway?
Have you seen the hills of green moss,
in the mystic month of May?

Have you ever seen the mighty storm,
unleashed after legnthy broods?
If you've never, then you've never,
breathed the breadth of all life's moods.

Have you seen thirsty waterfalls,
swallow canyons of the earth?
Have you seen the magic moment,
of a childs struggling birth?

Have you glimpsed the depths of oceans
all that it, obscure, includes?.
If you've never, then you've never,
breathed the breadth of all life's moods.

Have you felt the beauty of a love,
proufoundly deep and true?
Or the brilliant, pastel canvas,
of the rainbows crescent hue?

Have you ever held the strong hand,
of the spirit, touch eludes?
If you've never, then you've never,
breathed the breadth of all life's moods.
