IT's whats inside that really counts, always remember that
Alone in the cold having only yourself
Counting your breathe and losing your head
Coming back to moments where you weren’t there
Beating in time with the wind and the air

Watching it run all down your face
In red cherry streams making sense turn to woe
Grabbing the barbs off what’s left of the wire
There’s only two left, fate and the fire

Unable to hide from the love you can’t turn
She finds you and waits for the choice you dare make
Running from her you cry in one’s fear
Never having enough faith to stand true to your own dear

You’ve loved her to death for all these long years
but now she sits sad from your unexplainable leave
yet here you stand now with the love from the start
And it all came from your own ruby red heart
