This is simply for my Mother!
If someone granted me,
Only one wish, it would be,
That God make my mother to see.

All her life she has been blind,
It's hard to accept, that she doesn't mind,
And She's ever been thoughtful, and kind.

She's never seen the star lit skies,
Never seen how a eagle flies,
Never seen the warmth in my fathers eyes.

Six kids she helped raise,
And everyone was amazed,
That a blind woman would do this, it’s crazy.

She will never know the shape of my face,
But there is comfort in her ever embrace,
There will never be another in her place.

With every sunrise, I have hope anew,
That sight will inhabit those eyes of blue,
Mother, I love you.
