An experience of grounding to the earth.

Barefoot
I close my eyes.
Close my eyes to the horizon beyond -
So I,
I can truly see,
Feel,
Truly know
How to be part of the earth,
This, Mother Earth.

Standing
The sun kisses my face.
The wind, she plays with my hair -
And I,
I hear her words,
Whispering
Breathlessly,
I start to hear the earth,
This Mother Earth.

Naked
New born to the day.
I breathe, breath in this smell -
For I,
I am part of this scent,
Fresh
Clean,
I inhale this new earth,
This, Mother Earth.

Exposed
I soak in the air.
My feet, grounded and free -
Yes I,
Return to my roots,
Alive,
Free,
Within
This Mother Earth.

Me
Standing, naked, exposed.
Complete, joined to this day -
And I,
Love this true ground,
United
Forever
Embracing this world,
My Mother, Earth.

Our Earth.
