Grey matter; A journey into my mind.

Standing still, still within this matter
This grey matter, where the light shines low.
I look within this still, silent space.
I hear, hear my own voice within -
Nothing more, nothing less.
I journey this road with no end,
It twists and turns, up and down.
It is rocky, steep and yet, somehow smooth
Transcending from one thing to another seamlessly -
As one path starts to evolve, a separate runs parallel,
But, it does not show itself?
Leading, believing and sometimes tricking.
I smile, I know you.
You, that pretends to know all.
You, that is brighter than you show.
The magic, hidden deep within
This, grey matter.
Like a shock of lightning you bolt me -
Bolt me down, shutting yet another door.
As you shut one, you tease another open.
The light that enters me, can at times overwhelm,
Overwhelm in a way that is felt, not said.
Would I change it? - Not for the world.
It shines from me, enlightening me, burdening me.
Like a see saw with its ups and downs
This, grey matter.
But eventually we arrive to what matters
What really matters?
Within my mind, my health, love and life,
Externally nothing matters
Apart
From
Health - matters.
