just how it feels to be emursed in a sea of everthing and nothingness all at once.
the ability to swim is one in a few. we all know this. the cool water taking her in like a new wave, every rush just as exuberant as the next. different lifeforms underwater, coral, eels, fish that would never see the light of day, it kinda makes you feel like life is so much bigger than you could ever think. as she dove down, her lungs letting her know when time was up, she knew she could dive at least a hundred meters. but something today begged her to dive down deeper, to see what she didn't the day before. as the cool rush got colder, letting her know she was out further than before, she felt something swipe across her leg, a fish? shark maybe, who cared? kamuria was here to keep her safe. so much freedom was felt being able to spin and flip unlike above water, the safety of it was just unexplainable. to see life go freely around her, as if she was never there at all made her feel like she was mortal. to see ocean life in its true form made her feel like she belonged. as her lungs reminded her that they couldnt hold the air for much longer, she started to kick upwards, but it didnt work, nothing she did would inable her to go towards the surface, in everything she ever swam, this would NOT let her move. as more powerful kicks and wails towards the currant she made, nothing could make her go up. her air running low, and she could feel it, going against her lungs, trying her best to use the carbon monoxide that had built up, but still, nothing. kicking and seeing the surface, but she just couldnt get to it, she wanted to scream, but didnt want to let the rest of her oxygen run out, she mustered up all of her abilities and kicked as hard as she could, but still the surface seemed so far away, why? just keep kicking, the voice told her, that air is right there, but something kept pulling her, what the fuck? she looked down at her legs, nothing, she just couldnt make it. fear and panic started to set in. 'fuck' she proclaimed in her head. just keep kicking. but no. nothing aloud her to surface. even in the water she felt tears rolling out of her eyes, no matter how hard she tried, she couldnt see the pure light of day. she closed her eyes, and let everything she ever hated, everything she ever wanted to hurt, maim or kill build up inside her and push her to succed, she finally reach the surface. only to wake up, realizing she had a stuffy nose and everything that had happened before was only a dream. the tears still in her eyes. the fear. she blew her nose and tried to shake the horrible dream from her. only to see what fear she had still to overcome.
