As we age, we don't lose a thing. We gain the world.
Age isn’t just a number,
It’s how long we’ve lived our life,
it measures all our happiness,
it measures all our strife

Age isn’t just a number,
It’s a stack of building blocks,
All the joyous moments,
Built of stones and rocks

From childhood to adulthood,
We live and don't forget,
But once a while, the mind does good,
And we release or dearest frets

Age isn’t just a number,
It’s our family and friends,
The time we spent together,
Relations without ends.

Age isn’t just a number,
It’s a couple magic beans,
Showing how we’ve grown,
Much more than it would seem.

Age isn’t just a number,
If it was we would be lost,
Without our timeless joy,
We would have a cost.

We would have to pay a price,
A payment for our slumber,
For without our daily happenings,
Our age is just a number.
