The thunder in your heart
fills your eyes with rain
and the rain in your eyes
pools up and overflows
into all you do
and all your thoughts
become the glow of autumn
and you reflect the landscape
as the colors bleed from leafs
and the leafs drop to the ground
at precisely the same time
the clouds in your chest
part
to let the sun show
