You may find this out the hard way, but eventually you will realize...mom's right.
All my life, I dreamed of you.
Then, one day, it all came true.
Mama said, "Careful what you wish for,
'Cuz someday, it may knock on your door."

Should've listened - Mama's always right.
But I still closed my eyes real tight -
Wished for a man to come into my life
And ask me to become his wife.

Oh Mama, Mama where are you?
I need another woman to talk to.
How do I fix a broken heart?
What if there's a missing part?

How do I stop a cheating man?
How do I get this ring off my hand?
Do I forget him and move on?
Does this pain last very long?

Can I walk out with my head held high,
And smile when I just want to cry?
How do I make it through the stormy days?
Can I break through this confusing haze?

Oh Mama, Mama where are you?
I need another woman to talk to.
Should've listened - you're always right.
I need a shoulder to cry on tonight.
