someone who has lost in love and feels in agony thinking on it.
I Can’t Write About Love

I can’t write about love,
It hurts too much.
Whenever I connect, I loose.
My dreams are blocked,
My mind solitary,
My ears filled with a high pitch squeal;
Then I think again:
My stomach churns
Everything turns, into agony.
My tears flow from the pit of my being,
My head feels heavy,
Life becomes a blur,
But the days seem too long.

Every attempt to reconcile,
To talk things through,
Results in my stupid words.
Results in my cycle of self-doubt.
Moments of hope, precious yet fragile,
But every time I want it to end,
I find a reason for life...again.
