A little girl looks at the world and says, "Why does it have to be like this?"
One day a little girl named Annie Miller looked out of the window of the apartment building, she was so sad that no one was nice in this place. Annie Miller had just moved to New York, she didn't like it there at all. She wanted to move back to her old house in Colorado. She looked around and all she could see around her were taxis.

Annie went and asked her mom, "Why is it so unfriendly here mama?"

Her mom put down the boxes she was unpacking and replied,"I don't know Annie, people around here just weren't taught to do things like us."

Annie didn't understand how it was in New York. She was confused. "Mama?" she said.

         Her mom said,"Yes Annie?"

"Why can't we move back to our old house?" Annie asked sadly.

"Your dad and I had to move away from home because your dad got a new job, and it is here." Her mom explained.

Annie just didn't like it, she went to her room. She prayed to God, "Why does it have to be like this God? I don't understand why you won't fix it."

After a few years, God answered Annie's prayers, and she didn't have such a hard time. Annie's dad got another job transfer, and it payed a lot more. The job was located in Florida, this time.

Annie thought it was nice there. She loved it. But she still missed her friends from Colorado. That will never change.
