Faith awaits; when will you be ready?

Faith walks beside me

Seeking my hand to embrace

My heart’s stone, cold . . . bare

Patiently, stepping in time

Faith whispers truth in my ear.

Tanka poem:

Five lines with 5-7-5-7-7 syllables.

Frequently about love, seasons, sadness, with strong images and poetic devices.
