What secrets do we hide?
My secrets, my secrets,
for all the world to see.
Oh secrets, oh secrets,
tell you nothing of me.

Seeking my inner soul?
Then look in front of you;
my masks, long discarded.
You have a front row view.

My words are too honest;
my eyes, they tell it all.
I’m not a mystery;
perhaps my greatest flaw.

Too tired for pretending,
things I don’t truly feel.
So take me or leave me,
for this is the real deal.

Are my lack of secrets
too much for you to share?
Truth makes you uneasy;
you shake under my stare.

That’s my little secret,
knowing the way to win.
I’ve taken all the fun
by exposing my sin.

Shhhhhhh . . . .
