Its a poem about a man who is much younger than me but I love him so much anyway.
My Hero

Martin is my special man,

always there for me,

whenever he can.

10 years younger,

Is that a crime?

the crime is though

that he can never be mine.

I know that handsome man

a long, long time,

He's such a good man,

warm and caring,

loving and kind.

Even though he's gorgeous,

he doesn't realise,

that women desire him,

In that sense he's not very wise.

Humble and funny,

He's in my heart,

I believe we're soulmates

and never will part.

He raises me up,

when my spirits are down,

He is my hero,

I am his clown.

I stay in this world,

because Martin lives here,

and my children too.

So I have no fear.

I maybe alone and yearn

for his love,

but plans for Martin come from above.

So I laugh when we chat

and talk for hours on

the phone.

while Martin still cares

why should I feel alone?

Loving Martin

all of the time,

yet still knowing,

he will never be mine.

Age is a number,

but matters still,

and so I bow to God's will.
