Things that go bump in the night
The sun has set

The labour is over

For you mortals the day is done.

But when the moon has risen

Our day has just begun.

As you lie in your beds and dream

Everything is silent…

Or so it would seem

The mist creeps in the forests

Between the trees

And over the roots

This is an event that no mortal sees.

At the signal of owl’s hoot

We come out of the shadows

And walk in the moonlight.

Wolves snarl and growl

The cold wind howl

Vampire’s lovers

Conduct their deathly innocent love affair.

Gremlins and Goblins

Creep

And Crawl

From shadow

To shadow

Promise the gathering with their chilling giggles

Banshees drift in from the skies

With their blood draining shrieks

And tearing eyes.

The moonlight is our calling

The moonlight

We are the creatures of the night

This is our domain

And this is where we shall remain.
