A poem about expressing myself through my writings for those who dare listen.

Watch this
Look over here
A slide of hand
A trick of the mind
Exposed for what it is
Nothing more
See it clear
Open wide
Let me inside
Deep into the core
Touch your heart
Ignite all the parts
Think for yourself
Explore
Be a whore
No more
Understand
Clarity spelled out
For you
Know what I am saying
Not a sound will be spoken
Only truth to be written
Folded in ways
That require a brain
An idealistic approach
Rampart does it grow
Once it takes hold
Infected you will become
Consuming all that you can
An itch you can't scratch
A need never to be met
Am I smarter
Than those of you I remit
Than those I truly lament
Such ridiculous
I dare not predict
I use these words
Every damn one
To paint a picture
As I see it
As I live it
In my head
Images always kept
Long after words spent
Long after meaning is left
On the page for others
To embrace as theirs
I can recall each image
Like a photo album of horrors
Each detail is crisp and clear
Each nuance is always there
Millions of words penned
Billions more left
This life for me
Is no longer about living
It is only about expressing
Call it a sickness
A dire affliction
I could care less
I won't be bothered
With the outcome
Of all that I've done
Or am about to do
Floating ideas
Concepts made real
Dreams once screamed
Made quite silent
Understand them if you can
If not, then at least
Interpret them into
A construct that you
Can learn to deal with
I want to mean something
Is that so bad
So undeniably evil
I am sure it's not
Because evil is an illusion
Performed by pantomimes
Who dare no speak of their crimes
I, unlike them
Allow my voice to be heard
Listen well
You can tell
That I am speaking to you
Through a medium of truth
Understand if you can
If you dare
I will always be here
Just like my words
Just like the pictures
In my head that confess to me
All that has been
And all that will be…
