One sided relationship
Oh Lover, your scent fades with the sun and my last breath
You give me nothing in return, your silhouette smoking as the shadows wrap around you
You tilt your head the same with every exhale
The smoke is slow and lazy as it leaves your lips, circling around your head with seduction until it dissipates into the dry air
I draw that image on the wall, but in my drawing the smoke is a woman
her hands circling close to your cheeks as if to embrace you
but you pay no attention and she is left wanting.
