A poem very dear to my heart.
~ Free fall ~

There she sits, perched on the roof above
looking down thinking how easy it would be
to end it all
lost in a free fall

below the world spins on
going about their daily lives
but there she sits
wishing that she fit in

her life is hell
nobody cares
among smiles
she wears a glare

long blond hair, skinny jeans
your weight on a scale
and your makeup things
pointlessness of importance to her

she feels so small and helpless
shoved aside by family
they laugh at her tears
without sympathy

she wont show emotion
she pushes it deep
an empty bottle, blood running down
her mask grows thick

mediator of a constant war
shes falling apart
forced to take sides
shes losing her will

where rank can build you up
or tear you down
their blind to their vile ways
she cuts away the pain

where giving up would mean they win
shes not sure she could give in
one small voice cant change a thing
and the pain but lose the fight

There she sits, perched on the roof above
looking down thinking how easy it would be
to end it all
lost in a free fall
