A women worries. They worry, but with good reason.
I'm Confused

I'm confused sitting on this couch,
You said we'd be together here,
This summer would finally come,
We'd be together after so long,
But now you're unsure of it,
You say that things have come up,
Legal problems and high school,
They keep you locked to that place.

I'm confused sitting on this couch,
You say you love me dearly,
But now you have money problems,
Later you say you have enough,
For a baby even though it'll be a while.

I'm confused sitting on this couch,
Do you just not want me to worry?
Are you afraid I'll push you away?
You won't even send me pictures,
Yes, your phone takes sucky pics,
But later you tell me you broke it,
Your leg which makes me worry,
Do you not trust us?
Our relationship?
Me?

I'm confused sitting on this couch,
My heart is clouded with confusion,
I can think clearly only when it's you,
But can I really think at all now?
Because I feel I can't trust you...

I'm so confused sitting on this couch,
Because... well... I love you.
I love you so unconditionally,
It hurts sometimes at night thinking,
Of how we used to be so carefree,
The adult world is so confusing.

I'm so confused sitting on this couch,
When did we both grow up?
Because now I realize for the first time,
I'm scared of losing your love,
Of losing the one person who understands,
Who cares enough to know me.

I'm confused sitting on this couch,
And now I know what to do,
I know I should love you and never,
Let you go...
