The joy of being in the presence of God
I.
Every morning
Lay me down
Before the throne.
There passes
The instrument of my
Terrors and Pains
Nightmares and failed dreams
All swallowed by the streams
Of joy from His presence.

II.
Everyday
My mouth to Him
A praise to give,
For strength and salvation
Redemption and the Way.
With a heart of thanksgiving
Rejoicing on the sway
Of the wind of the
Spirit of His majesty.

III
Every night
As I stretch to sleep
My mind, my soul to keep,
I yield my all.
For rest and dreams
Of witty inventions and schemes
You alone reveals
More than any mind conceive.
Of Wisdom I speak.
