My regrets
Bad Timing

The children I haven’t birthed
The tales I left untold
The men I failed to love
The battles I never fought
But should have

The sunrise over Mount Everest I’ve never seen
The Grammy I could have won
The space to which I’ve never been
The moment in which I should have shone
But didn’t

Grasping at squandered years
Life ticking past
Wishing to turn the clock
But no coming back
