There I was
observing your beauty
cherishing your smile
enjoying your laughter
listening to you speak

There I was
talking about love
speaking of soul mates
explaining our bond
telling you how I feel

There you sat
listening to my words
agreeing with what I said
hearing my theory
feeling the same way

There I was
laying in bed
surrounded by thoughts
realizing the stupidity
embarrassed by my imagination
