Riding the storm and falling in love
I'm crying in the dark
As reality hits
They say life is worth it
Well that's just bullshit
But then I look to my fingers
Where yours perfectly fit
I guess there's a first time for everything.

When nothing's going right
And everything's going wrong
My favorite song on the radio
But I can't sing along
Pretend my head's on your shoulder
Laying where it belongs
I guess there's a first time for everything

Drowning in a storm
That I never saw brew
Falling down again
I know that's true.
But then your arms hold me afloat
And I'm clinging onto you
I guess there's a first time for everything.
