My wife's love for me is transformative. Her power over me is wielded gently, lovingly.
What is it about the way the woman says your name?
Like a cooling breeze over sweat-coated skin, refreshing and reinvigorating.
And the sound like wind chimes soothing your ears, stirring your emotions, deep inside.
And when this woman, who became your wife, looks at you?
It's as if you can see your entire future in her eyes, laid out before you,
filled with nothing but promise of success and no failings.
And then she touches your arm with her fingers, electric shock filled with awe-inspiring goodness.
It's just a simple touch, and yet your attention is riveted by her never before seen beauty and
You are struck mute, not even knowing what to say, even if you could speak.
When she releases your arm, the spell dissipates, but not fast,
Lingering like the early morning rain, leaving traces of its passing.
She doesn't know the power she has over you.

The power that makes it possible for you to leap tall buildings
And to create endearing and enduring works.
To meet all opposition head on and never know defeat.
To rise out of the mire that surrounds us and to fly and float in the ether.
