A lie never dies, it will get you back when you least expect it.
LIes
Never tell a lie
You’ll only hurt yourself
You might make someone cry
When the truth is found by itself
Your friends will always feel
That you cannot have their trust
Apologies won’t help
When honesty is a must
Lies bring a lasting hurt
To a friendship as you’ll see
One lie will soon become two
Then two lies grow to three
Begin with simple truth
A lasting friend will know
That when you don’t tell lies
Your reputation will glow.
