The more I feared losing you
the more my heart started to pump love,
The more I felt this burning need to hold on to you,
The more I made mistakes.

Every small thing somehow everytime reminded me of you,
and of all the sacrifices you had been making... Pretending to be okay... Waiting

I don't know what birthed inside of me but whatever it is, it revolves around you
It breaths the air you exhale
and belongs to you like it never belonged to me.

Whispers your name every night like it never whispered my own.
